BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS
Directive 63 participates in functions which are sensitive in nature ranging from government consulting to digital investigations to intelligence investigations.  These functions, and related jobs, may require a valid Security Clearance or corporate background check. 

Because our workload involves such sensitive working environments, employees are required to undergo an extensive background check in order to be hired by D.63.  After receiving and accepting a conditional offer of employment our Security teams will initiate a background check, provided information found does not disqualify you for appointment your employment will be activated.  This check may include: drug testing, past employment verification, education verification, interviews with references, family and associates, public records search, and criminal history searches.  In positions where it is relevant to the mission a credit check may be initiated. 

Disqualifiers for employment with D.63 can be, but not limited to:
- False Information Represented on Application or Resume or in Interview
- Felony Conviction
- Sex Offender Registration
- Failure of a D.63 authorized Drug Test
- Inability to gain or maintain Security Clearance
- Inability to gain or maintain State Registration or Licenses
